Throughout late September and early October, individuals or teams will create a game based around a given theme. Participants can use whatever game engine and programming language they like.
When the submission period ends, those same participants will then be able to freely play and rank the submissions.
THEME
The theme for this game jam is STORY / ADVENTURE.
Here are some ideas to get you started:
- A classic role-playing adventure game.
- A game where you go on a tour around the world to visit world wonders.
- A story book comes to life.
RULES
Submissions must be fully completed between September 18th and October 6th.
Any submissions made outside of this time frame will not be considered.
Submissions must contain the theme.
Every submission should embody this game jam's theme.
No generative AI.
The use of generative AI to generate assets such as images, audio, or textures is strictly forbidden.
No sexually explicit content.
Sexually explicit content of any kind is not permitted and will be removed.
FAQ
Can I use third-party assets?
Third party assets are allowed as long as proper credit is given in an easily viewable location of your submission.
This game jam is not officially endorsed by Murray State University or the Association for Computing Machinery.
