MoonRift Entertainment is hosting its second Global MoonJam event!

This time around we are making some changes within MoonRift and part of that is experimenting more

with these game jams and trying to grow them into a big part of the indie community in the future.

RATING

At the end of the Jam, there will be a rating period that lasts 3 days. Your game will generally be rated

on:

Fun Factor: Does this game look fun?

Completion: How complete does the game look in comparison to the overall deadline?

Visual: Does it look appealing to the audience visually and in first-impression?

Audio: Is there proper audio that makes the audience feel immersed in the game?

Engagement: Is there enough player agency and moments of tension to keep the audience engaged?

Unique Factor: What separates this from other games in the same category?

RULES

Rules:

-Read the rules.

-Not reading the rules is not an excuse for breaking them.

-Keep game content clean. No NSFW content, offensive content, excessive gore/violence.

-Any games that do not follow the rules will be removed from the jam without warning.

Can I submit more than one game? 

-Would advise against it.

Can I submit a game I already made? 

-Only submit projects made within the time frame.

Can I make changes during the rating period?

-No, once submitted all bets are off.

What engine can I use?

-You can use any engine or framework.

Do I have to follow the theme?

-Yes

I have code and assets from other Jams I wish to use, are these allowed?

-Yes! If you have the rights to use it, anything that wasn't made specifically for this particular jam is

allowed.
