Design Focus: VARIED PLAYER EXPERIENCE

Restriction: NO TWO SESSIONS THE SAME

You should strive to make the type of game that allows the player to do things that they would want to tell a friend about.  This means that each player should be able to have an experience in the game that is unique to them.  This does not mean that we want you to make a very large and complicated game, but rather we want you try to find a set of simple mechanics that allows for a lot of variation through either randomness, player choice, or both.

You do not have to follow the design focus and restriction!  They are just suggestions.  You are welcome to upload anything you've been working on whether it be a game, coding project, art, music, etc.

You are welcome to work alone or in a team.

You are welcome to make your own assets or to download them.

We think developing a simple game with a limited scope is a great way to get into game development. We hope that you have fun along the way and find satisfaction in completing a game!

Let me know if you have any questions.
