This jam is about creating a minimalist map, that would be legible if it was printed on to a 15.8mm x 15.8mm LEGO tile. Strive to make each “mini map” visually interesting, while using the least amount of visual information as possible to suggest an adventure hook.

Though my personal preference is digital, it is not a requirement for this jam. You may submit pen and ink drawings, layered cutouts of construction paper, or whatever medium gets the job done. The art style of your map does not need to match any official LEGO product, and the size of the image can be whatever works for you, just pretend that it is going to be printed on something very very small.

There is no limit to how many mini maps you can make for this jam. I recommend you name your submission “[your name]’s mini map pack” if you plan on making more than one mini map, so you do not clutter your itch profile with a bunch of submissions. You may even add to your previously submitted map packs anytime after the jam closes.

Your mini map may be based on your imagination, a real world location, or a scene from your favorite movie / book / video game. Special challenge for my TTRPG folks: promote your work by making a mini map for each of your published adventures!

This is a low stress jam that will be open for three months.
