WELCOME!
Mini jam is a 72-hour-long, game development jam for independent game developers that occurs every two weeks.
Mini Jam involves a required condition that is announced as soon as it starts to spice things up. Remember, limitation breeds creativity. You get the theme early, so you can plan ahead, Just keep the limitation in mind. This jam's theme is PUZZLE. Remember, theme is purely inspirational and not required. Feel free to interpret it however you want.
LIMITATION!
The limitation is a special condition that your game must follow, but is open to interpretation. If your game does not follow the limitation, it may be removed.
Limitation: Combine 2 different game genres
This means that you must incorporate elements from 2 (ideally conflicting) game genres into your game. It's important to mention that "Puzzle Game" doesn't have to be one of your game's genres. Try to pick an interesting combo!
Q: Can I combine more than 2 genres.
A: Yes.
Q: Are Tetris, Picross, and Sokoban in the same genre?
A: Yes, they are all "Puzzle Games".
Q: Does making a puzzle platformer count as combining 2 genres?

A: Don't, you will need to list the genres you combined when it's time to submit your game.

RATING!
At the end of the Jam, there will be a rating period that lasts 5 days. Your game will be rated on:
Enjoyment - How much you enjoyed your time with the game.
Concept - How interesting or unique the main focus of the game was.
Presentation - How well executed the main focus of the game was.
Use of limitation - How well the game incorporated the given limitation.
RULES!
- You may only make your game
within the time frame, we do check. However, updates are allowed after the game has been submitted - No harassment of any kind.
- Keep game content clean.
No NSFW content, offensive content, excessive gore/violence. You can use pre-made assetsthat were not made for this jam, like asset packs, or assets from older projects of yours.- Follow the limitations given.
Read the rules. Not reading the rules is not an excuse for breaking them.
Any games that do not follow these rules may be removed from the jam.
