Micro Jam is a bi-weekly Game Jam (game development competition) held on itch.io. Every Jam has a pre-set theme and a surprise prerequisite that is divulged once the Jam starts. The prerequisite can be voted on in the Micro Jam Discord server and is open for interpretation.
There is NO voting on itch.io. All official voting will be held on the official Micro Jam website. This is to prevent cheating. You MUST ALSO RATE AT LEAST 5 GAMES on the Micro Jam website for your game to be eligible.
It's absolutely fine if you do not finish your game in time. You can submit it late within 6 hours after the submission window closes!
▸ Special thanks to Easel and Ziva for sponsoring and making these jams possible.

This week's theme for Micro Jam 070 is Circus!
This is open for interpretation, but just remember that use of theme is a criterion being voted on (on the Micro Jam website).
The prerequisite will be revealed once the Jam begins.
Thank you to our amazing sponsors! This Jam would not be running without them, so please click on their graphic to learn more about them:

▸ First of all, everyone can get a certificate of participation upon request in our Discord server!
When submission is over, there will be a 48 hour rating period held on the Micro Jam website (https://www.microjam.xyz/jam/70/vote). It is crucial that you rate games on the Micro Jam website, as those are the votes that count toward prizes. You will be unable to vote on itch.io.
