Micro Jam is a bi-weekly Game Jam (game development competition) held on itch.io. Every Jam has a pre-set theme and a surprise prerequisite that is divulged once the Jam starts. The prerequisite can be voted on in the Micro Jam Discord server and is open for interpretation.
All official voting will be held on the official Micro Jam website. This is to prevent cheating. Voting on itch.io is optional and will not affect prizes.
It's absolutely fine if you do not finish your game in time. You can submit it late within 6 hours after the submission window closes!

➤ Audio - Quality and effectiveness of the music, sound effects, and overall audio.
➤ Polish - Attention to detail, presentation, smoothness, and overall refinement.
➤ Fun - How enjoyable, engaging, and satisfying the game is to play.
➤ Theme - How creatively and effectively the game incorporates the jam's theme.
➤ Prerequisite - How well the jam's prerequisite has been incorporated.
▸ After the voting period has ended, a judge panel will assess a bracket of games to be chosen for a prize (see "Prizes" section above).
➤ Keep your game content clean (no explicit, NSFW, or disturbing graphics)
➤ Keep your game content in English (the title can be in any language)
➤ You can submit your game late, within the 6 hour grace period, through our Discord
➤ Do not delete or change your game files after the 6 hour grace period, since submissions will be locked
➤ You can't win 2 prizes in the same category. Your lower ranking entry won't be considered for judging
➤ To be eligible for prizes, you must be a member of our Discord community
➤ You may submit multiple games, but all submissions must come from the same account. Using more than one account to submit is not allowed
