----RULES----
- Each team can only submit 1 game.
- Games have to be made during the game jam, hence between the 24th of October at 17:00 to the 26th of October at 17:00 and have to be submitted on itch.io before the end of the Game Jam. If the game is not submitted before the deadline, it will be discarded.
- The game submitted on itch must either be playable directly on itch or have a compressed (.zip) version executable on windows.
- Games will be evaluated in person, to get evaluated the team needs to bring a computer in person with a playable version of the game.
- You can use whatever tool they want. All game engines are accepted.
- No tools (such as computers, engines, audio, etc.) will be provided. You have to use your own.
- No minimum or maximum members per team.
- Games that don't respect the theme will be discarded from evaluation.
- There will be 4 trophies: Best Visual design, Best Audio Design, "Coup de coeur" and Best game.
- Borrowing assets/AI is permitted but will discard you from the category related to the asset.
- Games that failed to mention AI use explicitly will be discarded from evaluation.
- Copies of bad derivatives* aren’t allowed and using them will make your game discarded.
- References to existing artwork is allowed as long as it doesn’t enter the category of bad derivatives.
- The team members are the owners of the submitted games, not MGD or the Indie Asylum.
- Jammers using assets or tools without legal requirements are not a responsibility of the MGD game jam.
*Bad derivatives are shallow copies of already existing content, such as taking an existing sprite from another game and changing only the colors.
