Hey developers,

more than a year ago, I started hosting the Metroidvania Month Jam. Since then, many different games have been created, but sometimes, great ideas get overcome by the next jams or just life in general. So I am starting this edition of the MVM: the super edition!

What's the difference?

The MVM is taking place every 2 months and dure 1 month. This jam will be 3 months long. It starts at the same time as its counterpart jam. So you guessed it: the super edition will be happening every month in the year. However, this edition is focused on getting feedback on a game you previously submitted to an MVM jam. Its goal is to encourage developers to continue developing ideas they previously made.

Rules

1. You need to submit a game that has already been submitted to a previous Metroidvania Month Jam, during this jam's counterpart MVM or during the actual SMVM duration.

2. Teaming is accepted and even encouraged! Make bigger teams to make a bigger and better game!

3. The game needs to have a PG-13 rating or below.

4. I'm not accepting late entries. The next jam starts right after anyway, so you will be able to submit to the next one.

Like the MVM, the jam doesn't have a theme except metroidvania. 

Rating

There are more criterias in this edition then in the original. The criterias are: story, controls, user interface, graphics, animations, music, sound effects, fun and releaveance to the metroidvania genre. This will let you have a more detailed feedback from your players. For the super edition, the public will be able to vote! This will let you receive feedback from anyone!

Once again, there aren't prizes, and there won't be a winner role on Discord since like I said before, the super edition is focused on feedback.
