What is this Game Jam all about?

This is an open challenge to all fellow scratchers out there, to make a Complete, Real Game, which can be played for a long time, and looks like a real complete game. This doesn't mean only cool mechanics and stuff that looks good, but everything you see in a game - a start screen, intro, menus, maybe story, feeling of happiness, sadness or anything but a real game feeling. Submit only complete games, that's why it's a 2 Month Long Game Jam!

You can take inspiration from really big popular games! Like Minecraft, it's a really complete game with an aim to reach the end and defeat the Ender Dragon. Or other 2D games. Read the rules and requirements (and other stuff) and get started!

Rules

1. The game must be complete and final. Only 1 submission is allowed.

2. Take time and submit in the last week. Maybe ask your friends to play it and give feedback and find bugs and glitches!

3. Submit only a .sb3 file! No other format is allowed (maybe zip or rar is allowed, but only sb3 will be opened if anything else is in the zip or rar)

4. Start voting right after you submit! Play other's games and tell them if you like their games! Also, vote!

5. Using other's assets without permission and giving credits is not allowed. People caught will be disqualified!

6. You can work in teams i.e. take help from others and make the game if you suck at doing some things!

7. No copyrighted content is allowed (i.e. Music, Assets etc.)

8. No NSFW i.e. inappropriate content allowed anywhere! (i.e. titles, in-game, description etc.)

Submit your game here on (https://itch.io/mcvincient-jam-2021-1) only! Take time and submit in the last week. Maybe ask your friends to play it and give feedback and find bugs and glitches! Don't submit your old projects, make new, it's a challenge!

Voting

Voting will be a MONTH LONG period. You can vote fellow scratchers' games!

Jam Starts on April 1st, 2021

Submission Time - April 1st, 2021 => May 31st, 2021

Voting Period - June 1, 2021 => June 30th, 2021

Other Cool Stuff

You can make your DevLogs or gameplay videos and put them on YouTube for your audiences to vote you!

You can advertise your game by posting it on Twitter and putting the Hashtag '#McVincientJam2021' in it!
