Rules for Submission (Refer to submission details for technical requirements):
- You may start a new project or continue working on a past project, so long as it fits the theme. Submissions/contributions may be made by anyone in the greater Omaha community, but only by individuals age 19+.
- In order to be part of the showcase and/or eligible for Judges'/Devs'/Community Choice awards, at least one contributor must be physically present at the time of voting to present their submission.
- Keep themes school appropriate - No excessive violence, gore, or NSFW/lewd/overly suggestive content. Additionally, games including offensive or prejudicial themes related to gender, sexual orientation, age, ability, appearance, ethnicity, national origin, citizenship, socioeconomic status, or religion will not be tolerated. MCCGDC Officers reserve the right to remove any content or submissions deemed to be in violation of this rule at their sole discretion.
- All assets/systems used must be developed by participants of the game jam, excluding free assets from Fab/Unity Store and the like WITH proper citation and credit given (see README.txt file requirements above.)
- The only AI tools allowed for development are non-chat/non-prompting features of the GitHub Copilot Extensions for Microsoft Visual Studio, Visual Studio Code, etc. or JetBrains' Junie for any JetBrains IDE, for the sake of assisting in code production. Any use of generative AI for visual images/assets or "vibe coding" will immediately disqualify the project from this jam. We are here to showcase peoples' skills, not a computer's ability to automate.
