This jam is the official companion to Mausritter Month (Nov 4 – Dec 4) — the community-wide celebration of all things sword-and-whiskers!

If you submitted to the BackerKit Mausritter Month event and didn’t get chosen — this jam is for you. 

 If you’re just discovering Mausritter and want to make something small, weird, cozy, grim, or glorious — this jam is for you. 

 If you just love mice with swords — well, this jam is definitely for you.

No theme. No competition. No prizes. Just pure fun, creative freedom, and community celebration!

What Is Mausritter Month?

Mausritter Month is a global collaboration between Losing Games, Games Omnivorous, Exalted Funeral, and an ever-growing community of third-party creators. It runs Nov 4 – Dec 4 2025, featuring new official projects, community spotlights, and the return of the Mausritter Core Box Set and The Estate Collection.

This Companion Jam runs Nov 11 – Dec 11 2025 — one week later — to give every mouse, mole, shrew, and frog in the community a chance to share their own creations!

What Can I Submit?

Anything Mausritter-related! Adventures, settlements, bestiaries, spells, hacks, mini-games, random tables, poems, soundtracks — whatever you dream up!

If it celebrates Mausritter and respects the third-party license, it’s welcome here.

• Adventure Sites or Regions
• Bestiaries, Factions, or NPCs
• Spells, Items, or Magical Treasures
• Zines, Comics, or Illustrated Stories
• Soundtracks or Play Aids
• Hacks or Mini-Rulesets
• Tools and Generators

No minimum or maximum size. Submit one project or a dozen — there’s no limit to your creativity.

Submission Requirements

• Your work must be original and first released during the jam (Nov 11 – Dec 11 2025).
• All content must comply with the Mausritter Third-Party License.
• You may sell your work — and you’re encouraged to! But please consider adding community copies.
• No AI-generated art or text.
• Be kind, inclusive, and creative. Any submission promoting hate speech, discrimination, or plagiarism will be removed.

Can I submit something I’ve already made? Yes, but we’d prefer new things – this is a chance to grow and expand the community.

Can I collaborate with others? Absolutely! Team projects are encouraged.

Do I have to sell my work? Nope — free, PWYW, or paid are all welcome.

What languages are accepted? All! Mausritter is a global community — multilingual projects are wonderful.

Do I need to use a specific format or layout? No strict requirements.

What happens after the jam? All submissions will be featured together on a celebration live stream and promoted on social media. All submissions will be added to the Mausritter Library as well.
