Die perfekte Jam für Anfänger. Keine Sorge, es wird ganz entspannt. 

Du glaubst uns nicht? Es gibt so viel zu tun in einem Jam Team. Von der Erstellung der Itch.io Page, über das Sammeln von Referenzen oder einfach nur ein Auge für Design und Farben... Bestimmt findet hier jedes Talent seine Aufgabe.

Eigentlich sind Jams Wettkämpfe mit Preisverleihung und Kampfgeist. Wir glauben, wer nur Spaß hat, wenn gewonnen wird, hat bereits verloren. Gemeinsam ein Game zu bauen macht einfach Freude. Egal was dabei herauskommt.

Everyone is welcome. It's your first jam? Then you're in the right place. 

It doesn't matter if you've already started game development or are just starting out. Every team also needs people to google references, crop images, find sounds, browse the asset store or maintain the Itch page.

Don't worry, we'll jam together. This is not a serious competition.

Euer Game darf nicht vor dem Beginn der Jam erstellt oder begonnen werden. Das Thema der Jam wird beim Start um 19:00 Uhr auf dieser Seite bekannt gegeben. 

Es gibt Spielraum in der Interpretation. Das thema darf jedoch nicht komplett verfehlt werden. Wir können nur Games in das Ranking einbeziehen, welches auf Itch.io hochgeladen wurde.

Wenn ihr Unterstützung benötigt, wird euch auf unserem Discord Server geholfen!

Alle Beteiligten müssen sich an die übliche Netiquette halten.  Wichtig: Unnötig explizite Darstellung von sexuellen Inhalten, extreme Gewalt oder radikal politische Inhalte sind zu unterlassen und können zum Ausschluss führen.

Das Spiel muss auf einem Computer mit Windows 10 oder 11 spielbar sein. Browser-Games sind auch zugelassen. Es muss mit Standardeingabegeräten steuerbar sein, das heißt mit Maus und Tastatur. VR ist nicht möglich.

Es dürfen sowohl frei verfügbare sowie kostenpflichtig erworbene Assets verwendet werden. Notiert auf eurer Itch.io Seite einfach, welche Inhalte nicht im Rahmen der Jam entstanden sind. Das erleichtert das Ranking und die Bewertung eurer Mühen.

Trailer:

Jedes Game, welches im Livestream am Sonntag gezeigt werden soll, muss einen Mini Video Trailer haben. Dieser kann uns per download link direkt über Discord oder Email (info@manasoup.com) eingereicht werden.

Es besteht natürlich keine Pflicht einen Trailer zu erstellen.

Wichtig: in den Präsentations-Trailern bitte jegliche Nacktheit entfernen, da Twitch das sehr genau nimmt.

Your game may not be created or started before the start of the jam. The theme of the jam will be announced on this page at the start at 19:00. 

There is room for interpretation. However, the theme must not be completely missed. We can only include games in the ranking that have been uploaded to Itch.io.

If you need support, you will find help on our Discord server!

All participants have to follow the common netiquette.  Important: Unnecessarily explicit depiction of sexual content, extreme violence or radical political content is strictly forbidden and may lead to exclusion.

The game must be playable on a computer running Windows 10 or 11. Browser games are also allowed. It must be controllable with standard input devices, i.e. mouse and keyboard. VR is not possible.

Both freely available assets and assets purchased from external sources may be used. Simply note on your Itch.io page what content was not created as part of the Jam.

This will make it easier to rank and evaluate your efforts.

Trailer:

Every game that will be shown in the livestream on Sunday must have a mini video trailer. This can be submitted via download link directly via Discord or email (info@manasoup.com).

Of course there is no obligation to create a trailer, if you don´t want it to be watched in the Livestream.

Important: please remove any nudity in the presentation trailers, as Twitch is very strict about that.

Während der Jam werden wir euch in mehreren Livestreams auf Twitch unterhalten.

Genau wie letztes Jahr haben wir wieder spannende Gäste aus der Spiele Industrie, mit denen wir über das Thema der GameJam sprechen werden.

Die Talks werden als VOD auch nach der Jam verfügbar sein, die Teilnehmer können sich also entspannt auf ihre Arbeit konzentrieren.

During the Jam we will entertain you in several livestreams on Twitch.

Just like last year, we have exciting guests from the games industry with whom we will talk about the theme of the GameJam.

The talks will also be available as VOD after the Jam, so participants can relax and focus on their work.
