it's time for the first ever heckmaybe jam (but feel free to get involved even if you don't know/don't care about all that!)

work in a new medium! go back to an old one! work for a few minutes! work for a few days! get silly! get serious! do whatever... just take inspiration from the theme and make (basically) literally anything.

WHAT IS THIS: a 7(ish) day thing-making jam wherein the only limitation is a simple theme as listed below.

WHY IS THIS: it's fun to make things. it's fun to have an excuse to make things. it fun to look at things people have made!

SO, IS THIS A STREAM THING: i (holly of heckmaybe stream) am hosting the jam and will dedicate a stream to looking at submissions after the jam has ended. that said, the jam is open to anybody, you're not required/encouraged to involve the themes/jokes/vibes of the stream in your work and opting in to having your submission viewed on stream is entirely optional.

DOES "ANYTHING" INCLUDE 18+ WORKS: yeah absolutely, make what you wanna make! just make sure it's tagged appropriately.

DO I ABSOLUTELY HAVE TO FOLLOW THE THEME: i mean, i think it's fun if you do! but at the end of day if you're making something then you're making something and that's badass. so if you have something already in mind and you think this is the perfect excuse to get you to do it then i can't stop ya! just maybe mention it on your submission page.

CAN I SUBMIT SOMETHING I MADE PREVIOUSLY: no. then you didn't "make" something, you "made" something.. c'mon now! engage with the spirit of the thing!
