Welcome to Major Jam! Major Jam is a nearly 2 week (11 days) long game jam for those who are in isolation!

This not so Mini Jam covers the days between Mini Jam 50 and 51 with the theme: ISOLATION.

Since this is a special Mini Jam, you are allowed and encouraged to continue working on any previously submitted Mini Jam game. If you choose to take this route, the theme and limitation from that jam applies instead, and please submit with a DevLog explaining your changes. If this is your first jam or you just want to start fresh, that’s cool too! We will be announcing a limitation as usual at the beginning of the jam!

If you want to start earlier, Mini Jam 50: Islands is a great head start.

Wash your hands!

The limitation is a special condition that your game must follow, but is open to interpretation. If your game does not follow the limitation, it may be removed. Games from previous Mini Jams must adhere to the limitation from that jam (not in addition to the announced limitation however).

The limitation for Major Jam is: There are no living things

This theme is highly interpretive. So here are some pointers and a definition.
-Robots, zombies, skeletons, and other non-living animated forms are allowed.
The property or quality that distinguishes living organisms from dead organisms and inanimate matter, manifested in functions such as metabolism, growth, reproduction, and response to stimuli or adaptation to the environment originating from within the organism.
