Jam:

The inaugural Madora Game Jam challenges developers to create a game that includes the cryptocurrency Nano.  Nano is great for gaming because of its fast and fee-less transactions.  More importantly it does not utilize energy intensive mining to secure the network. Rules:

- Games submitted to a past jam cannot be included.  Assets can be reused.

- Nano must be used in some way. It can be as simple as paying out Nano to the player, accepting Nano in order to play, or adding Nano to an in-game system.

Prizes:

All submissions must be submitted by January 22nd.  Winners of each category will be contacted the day after voting has concluded on January 30th.

• Most Creative Use of Nano - $300
• Best Game - $500
• #2 Place - $200
• #3 Place - $200

Voting:

Prizes will be determined by participants in the Jam. Each category will be available for voting after you have submitted your game. You can vote twice. Once for the game with the most creative use of Nano and once for the best game. Voting will be available after your game has been submitted until January 29th.

Resources:

Currently Nano plugins for Godot, Unity, and Unreal exist.  Madora is available to support you through the process.  We can also assist if you are using another engine.  Below you can find the Nano plugins as well as video tutorials for Unity and Unreal.  We have included links to Natrium and Nault digital wallets.  The Nano faucet will allow you to start with some Nano for testing sending and receiving transactions. In order for transactions to process the network requires communication with a node. You can run a node yourself, but this can be costly. Luckily Madora has a node, and is waiving our service fee for those partaking in the jam.
