About the Jam
Got an unfinished prototype, an old jam entry, or a hidden gem sitting on your page? It’s time to give it a second life!
This jam is dedicated to improving existing games and getting them the visibility they deserve. Instead of starting from scratch, take a game you’ve already created, polish it up, add fresh content, and show the world how far your project can go!
Rules & Eligibility
🛠️ Must Be an Existing Project: Your entry must be based on a game, prototype, or past jam entry created before this jam officially started. Fresh, ground-zero projects created during the jam period are not eligible.
🔗 Submit Your Original Page: Do not create a new or duplicate itch.io page for your update! Simply update your existing itch.io project page and submit that exact link to the jam.
👥 Team Work: Solo developers and teams are both welcome.
What Counts as a Valid Update?
To qualify, your update should bring meaningful changes or improvements to your original build. Valid updates include (but are not limited to):
🎮 New Content: Adding extra levels, new game modes, playable characters, or story chapters.
⚙️ Mechanic Overhauls: Implementing new gameplay mechanics or reworking existing systems for better feel.
🎨 Visual & Audio Polish: Complete revamps or upgrades of art assets, UI, lighting, music, or sound effects.
🐛 Quality of Life & Bug Fixes: Performance optimization, major bug squashing, or accessibility improvements.
