Eternal love, longing for the mysterious, loving that which cannot be understood. It may sound scary, but your hearts will guide you together.

Welcome to the Lesbian Vampire Jam 2! This is a jam about making media where lesbians and vampires are the focus! Video Games, tabletop games, comics, short stories, etc. It's all accepted! The biggest rule is that the main character must either be a lesbian vampire, or a lesbian in love with a vampire! Make it bloody, make it messy, make it sexy as hell!

This is not a ranked jam, however there will be a prize for the game I like most! This Jam is being run to promote the Kickstarter for the print run of Let Me Be Your Thrall: Aftertaste, my sapphic duo vampire TTRPG. The winner will get a free copy of the game when the Kickstarter ends, as well as a copy of Let Me Be Your Thrall, the first game in the series. (Disclaimer: in the likely event that the kickstarter fails, the winner will still get a physical copy of Let Me Be Your Thrall, but its sequel, Aftertaste , will be given as a digital version instead)

You can check out the kickstarter here: https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/milkboygames/let-me-be-your-thrall-aftertas...
You can check out the previous Jam's submissions here: https://itch.io/jam/lesbian-vampire-jam/entries

This jam differs from the first because this time there is a theme! The theme is:
Aftetaste
It is only fitting! You may interpret this in any way you wish. I will be taking the theme into consideration when choosing a winner.

Rules:

1: Your media must not only include, but focus, lesbian vampires. Both characters do not need to be vampires in a relationship.

2: Your game must be made during the jam, no previous works.

3: No bigotry, transphobia, or racism. You may explore negative themes within your own identity, use your best judgement when making games with potentially sensitive themes.

4: Trans people are welcome, and I may even bias works that include, or are made by, trans women.

5: There must be a happy ending! Lesbian media often does not let the lesbians be happy together by the end. Not here. You can have as many twists and turns as you'd like, get as messy and toxic as you'd like, but it must end happily for the lesbian women! Multiple endings are allowed, as long as at least one of them follows this rule.

6: While this is not an NSFW jam, NSFW works are allowed

7: No Generative AI whatsoever. Do not use it for reference or ideas, do not use it to write for you, do not use it to create anything. Make your own thing, don't make a computer do it for you.

8: Because I will be judging these, each entry must be accessible to me. That means if your creation isn't free, there should be some community copies so I can experience your work!

9: You must make your game with the theme "Aftertaste" in mind. Judging will be based on how well it fits the theme, if it has a happy ending, and my overall enjoyment when playing. This means that if I enjoyed you game a lot, but it doesn't fit the theme, or it doesn't have a happy ending, you will not win. (With the exception of TTRPG things, since they generally don't have set in stone endings)

10: If I get at least 20 entries there will be 2 winners. If I get 50 there will be 3 winners.
