Hey friends, bitbrain here! This past year has been a whirlwind of important things, and now that it's all behind me, I'm feeling the need to slow down and reconnect with some cozy, creative energy. That's where #leafyjam comes in: a laid-back weekend where we can all take a breather, embrace the calm of autumn, and create something warm and cozy.

Think of it as a little reset. Let's focus on the simple joys, whether it is the crunch of leaves, the warmth of a cup of tea during a rainy autumn day, or just a quiet moment in a forest. No stress, no big challenges - just a chance to let our creativity flow in a way that feels good and cozy.

So grab your favorite blanket, pour yourself a hot drink, and let's take a weekend to unwind and make something special together. I'm excited to see the little autumn worlds we can bring to life.

Theme

The theme is all about autumn coziness. You’re free to interpret this however you like.  Whether it's the peacefulness of falling leaves, the warmth of a fireplace, or any other autumn vibe that makes you feel at home.

Submissions:

• Team Size: You can work solo or with a team. If you feel like sharing the creative load, team up and have some fun!
• Engine/Tools: Use whatever tools or game engines you prefer - whether it's Godot, GameMaker, or something else entirely.
• Content Guidelines: Keep the games family-friendly. We want to maintain that warm, cozy atmosphere, so no violence, gore, or inappropriate content.
• Frameworks/Asset packs: you can use toolkits, asset packs and what not. This jam is about you having a cozy experience, so whatever aids you is the right way.

Submission Requirements:

1. Your game must be autumn-themed or at least be very cozy.
2. Games should be playable on web or Windows/Mac/Linux platforms. If you are using a custom engine, please include clear instructions on how to play your game.
3. Include a brief description of your game, including the inspiration behind it.
4. If you'd like to add extra flair, feel free to include cozy music, sound effects, or visuals that enhance the autumn vibe.

Judging: This jam is all about creativity and atmosphere - there won't be any formal ranking system. I will personally try out all submissions.
