Three criteria will be announced the day the submission period starts. These can be themes, game elements, limitations, etc. It is not required to follow these, but they will play a major role in the rankings for those who are interested.

The overarching theme is SPACE, and this must be followed by all submitted games. Any other themes added by the criteria will also be space-related, but narrower in focus.

Any type of game is allowed—for example first-person shooters, text-based, puzzle, board game or even card games—but only games that can be played online, downloaded or replicated easily enough at home.

Tre kriterier kommer att släppas dagen inlämningsperioden startar. Dessa kan vara teman, spelelement, begränsningar, osv. Det är inte obligatoriskt att följa dessa, men de kommer att vara avgörande i rangordningen för de som är intresserade.

Det övergripande temat är RYMDEN, och detta ska följas av alla inlämnade spel. Andra teman från kriterierna kommer också att vara rymdrelaterade, fast mer restriktiva.

Alla sorters spel är välkomnade—exempelvis first-person shooters, textbaserade, pussel, brädspel eller till och med kortspel—men endast de som kan spelas online, nedladdade eller enkelt nog återskapas hemma.
