It's time for the Ladderversary Game Jam 2023!
To celebrate one year as an official studio we are launching our largest game jam taking place between 6th October and 9th October. However hosted through itch.io we are fortunate enough to have got some space at the University of Suffolk to showcase awards, games and possibly have some talks from industry professionals.
The Timeline
We will start the Jam on October 6th at 6pm with a discord presentation (https://discord.gg/jdB3SVeBfJ - discord server) from Daniel Wiltshire, Studio Director at Alarming Ladder, on the goals, rules and other fun stuff. This is also where the theme for the game jam will be announced! After that it will be up to yourself or if you are working in a team to create a game related to the theme!
The game jam is currently scheduled to end on October 9th at 10am.
If you are based in Suffolk we will be hosting a showcase on October 9th of all the games and will be voting in person. This is also where physical awards will be given out along with some prizes voted on by our industry judges!
The Awards
The first award is chosen by the people. The entries will be rated by peers based on 5 categories with the overall winner, winning the public vote award:
