We encourage you to think outside the box and come up with something truly unique. The possibilities are endless! You will be judged on various aspects of your game, including theme, innovation, gameplay, aesthetics, polish, replayability, accessibility, and story.
Remember that you can't use any assets you haven't created yourself. This is to ensure fairness and creativity in the competition. We want to see your skills in action!
To participate, simply form a team or go solo and create a game within the allotted time frame. Submissions can be in any genre or platform, from 2D puzzle games to 3D first-person shooters, and everything in between.
All games must be submitted by the deadline and will be judged based on their creativity, originality, and execution.
Here are a few examples of what you could create for the "Lost in Time" game jam theme:
- A time-traveling adventure game where the player travels through various eras and must collect pieces of a time machine to get back to the present day.
- A platformer where the player must navigate through ancient ruins that have been lost to time, avoiding traps and solving puzzles to uncover the secrets of the past.
