The participants will have to face the challenge of designing and implementing the entire Sound design of a series of templates with Krilloud and Unity in 48h. The jackathon runs from June 11th to June 13th!

The 1st Interactive Audio Jackathon is an event that will bring together participants from all over the world specialized in Interactive Audio and Unity developers. It is aimed at Interactive Audio enthusiasts, sound designers, composers, Unity developers, companies in the sector, university students and in general, anyone interested in interactive audio.

The interactive Audio Jackathon begins June 11th and ends June 13th. The Krilloud Team will make available to the participants 3 Unity project templates and they will have to work on to create the best sound design and implementation possible with krilloud and Unity. Each of the templates has a series of characteristics that the participants should use to adapt the sound design. 

Prizes will be awarded in the following categories:

- Category 1: Best Project. The originality in the global concept, finished product, “playable” experience, will be evaluated. 300€ (for the whole team) + 1-year Krilloud license. (Krilloud licenses for each member of the team)

- Category 2: Best Sound Design. The technical quality of the Audio and the musical production will be evaluated in its case. 200€ (for the whole audio team) + 1-year Krilloud License for each member of the audio team + 1 Digital Brain Plugins Bundle (Voxpat + Transformer + Oscar)

- Category 3: Best Implementation. The use of Krilloud's capabilities will be evaluated in depth. 200€ (for the whole team) + 1-year Krilloud license.  (Krilloud licenses for each member of the team)

- Category 4: The Most Impressive Bug. The best documented Bug will be evaluated. 200€ (for the whole team) + 1-year Krilloud license.  (Krilloud licenses for each member of the team)

- Category 5: Community Award.  All Discord Krilloud Server Users will vote for this category. 200€ (for the whole team) + 1-year krilloud license.  (Krilloud licenses for each member of the team)

1- All participants will follow the instructions of the organization and those in charge during the event. Bad behavior will not be accepted. 

2- Teams must use Unity and Krilloud obligatorily.

3- Teams must work in Krilloud Discord Server.

4- Develop and submit your game within the date and time listed (June 11th - 16:00 to June 13th - 17:00)

5- The maximum number of participants per team is 4. 
      (The organization will open a communication channel to facilitate team building before the event.)

6- You can modify any of the templates to your liking, as long as this helps you improve the sound experience.

7- You can only use self-made or free assets (e.g sound effects, music or art) and you must give credit where credit is due.

Is a local or online event?
The event will be held locally and online. Participants must enter Krilloud's Discord during the Jackathon.

Who can participate in the Jackathon? 
Anyone but needs to be of legal age, have completed the registration form and form a team of between 1 and 4 members.

I've never used Krilloud, where do I start?
Krilloud is very easy to learn to use, the Krilloud team will make available to the participants all the documentation on how to use it and on the first day of the event (June 11) An introductory workshop will be held with Krilloud. Either way the entire Krilloud team will be available to help you throughout the Jackathon.

Who will judge the games? 
The Krilloud Team will Judge the games based in the criteria explained below.

What assets can I use? 
The game should be developed during the jam, but you may use some pre-existing code and can use whatever art and audio assets you have the legal right to use.

I don't have a team, what can I do?
Its not a problem! The organization will manage teams from Krilloud`s Discord channel to facilitate team building before the event.

What are the system requirements for Krilloud?
Krilloud runs on 64 bit Windows 10 systems.
