The //kood Game Jam is the first ever game jam hosted by //kood!
 The perfect place to learn the basics of game development next to your programming studies!

Time table:

05.12 - Friday 12:00: all topics revealed
06.12 - Saturday 00:00: a topic is chosen - START OF THE GAME JAM
07.12 - Sunday 23:59: submissions deadline
08.12 - Monday 18:00: winners & results

How to submit?

When you have your game executable, join the jam and click "Submit your project" above and select "upload game". That will lead you to make a page for your game. There are lots of options there but all that's needed is:

• the "Title"
• the "Uploads" section where you need to upload your game file(s)
• and at the very bottom the game MUST BE set to "Public" for us to be able to download your game!

You first need set the title and upload the files, then you can save the game page. And only then can you set it to public.
DO NOT FORGET THIS!

How will it be ranked?

Three criterion will be considered, in the order of importance:

1. Gameplay - is the game playable? if it is, how fun is it?
2. Visual - how does it look?
3. Sound - does it sound good?

What if I'm barely too late with my submission?

The submissions have a hard closing time at Sunday 23:59.
However, if you really were just a bit late, then immediately shoot a message on discord to @Vivian or @Alex on the game jam discord. We will find a way to add your submission to the pool.
