“Almost immune to review!”
“The standard for all other modules to follow!”
"The adventure that helped launch Dungeons and Dragons!"
"Must-have for ALL novice D&D players!"
These are all things that people have said about the classic Dungeons and Dragons’ module, Keep on the Borderlands. If it’s that good, we should tear it apart and scrap it for parts, right?
This is a jam for doing just that--tabletop games, adventures, zines, and any other related media inspired by the classic Dungeons & Dragons module “The Keep on the Borderlands.” If you aren’t familiar with it, you can buy it here, or just read the Wikipedia entry here.
RULES
Q&A:
Q: How much of the original material from Keep on the Borderlands do I have to base my material off of?
A: As much or as little as you want. Don’t be afraid to give it the Ship of Theseus treatment.
Q: Can I remix another D&D module from the ‘70s or ‘80s that’s not “The Keep on the Borderlands?”
A: Sure! This jam is focused on Keep only because it’s one of the more popular ones.
Q: If I’m making a game, do I have to use old school D&D or OSR systems?
A: Nope! Work with whatever system you want, or none at all.
The Keep on the Borderland’s Jam will run from July 6th through September 6th! Happy jamming!
