A 48 hour, bi-weekly game jam that starts Saturday @3:00am PST and ends Monday @3:00am PST. Then the voting will close the following Friday at noon and a winner will be announced on discord!

About Me
This is Jynsay's Jame Jam. I'm James and I'm a musician, artist, and writer who makes games! I created this game jam as a way to bring people together and build a good community. There are big plans in the future for these bi-weekly game jams, so stick around!
(ex: expanding prize pools, bringing on special judges, or letting the community vote on a set of previous winners to be the judges for a Jam)

HOW TO JOIN?
You must have an itch.io account then hit the Join Jam button!
This jam was made with everyone in mind, meaning it doesn't matter if this is your first game jam or even first game, here is a community ready to help out.

WHAT CAN I USE?
You are allowed to use any game engine that you want! (preferably keep it running on windows though)
You can use any assets that you have the rights to use, like most of the free ones here on itch! (assets like art packs, sound libraries, NO AI. Just be sure to give credit appropriately and to the liking of the artist. (protect the artists guys)
RULES
- Your game (or any other content shared within this space) CANNOT contain hateful, derogatory, or bigoted materials. THIS IS A SAFE SPACE FOR EVERYONE. If this rule is broken there will be no warning, you and your game will be immediately removed completely from the Jam. (being respectful is easier than you think)
- Your game CANNOT contain anything that was made before the submissions are open or after they close. This is out of respect for those who are actually participating.
- You CAN submit games with adult content, but they MUST be tagged +18 IN THE TITLE and adult content must not be visible in the game thumbnail. Some of the participants are under 18 so to protect those people, any game and person that breaks this rule will immediately be completely removed and reported for soliciting inappropriate material to minors. I'm serious guys just be chill and label stuff.
- You can submit game with mature themes, please label your work clearly for any explicit/disturbing content. In order to be respect those with certain preferences, we ask that you prepare your players sensitively. Failure to do so may result in being asked to revise your game or game description, in a failure to fit that request I reserve the right to remove your submission.
- I have the right to remove any game or person from the Jam as long as they have violated one of the rules posted here or in the discord.

THEMES & DISCORD
The theme of each game jam will be announced on discord ONE HOUR before the submissions open. I will update the theme here once the submissions open. Discord link below.
Try your best to incorporate the theme however, don't give up because you cant think of how. Just do your best and don't worry about the theme if it's preventing you from making a game.
