Join us in our very first ever Game Grotto game jam, a celebration of all things funny, the Just for Laughs Game Jam! The goal is to make a small funny game the weekend before April first. The game should not be very complicated and should be designed to bring a laugh. This jam will be digital and is hosted by twitch streamers and video game developers Don and Meg from The Game Grotto.

RULES:

• Comedy themes must not contain highly realistic sexual themes, excessive blood and gore, or swearing. Keep things tasteful.
• Games should include original concepts, or obvious parodies of preexisting characters or games.
• Work needs to be your own! Do not use art you have not drawn or steal code from other games you have not made. Assets should be either purchased, commissioned, or downloaded for free from an asset store or made by yourself/ your team.
•  No discriminatory games, or games target at a specific person/persons.

If any of these rules are broken, or we believe your game is not fit for the game jam, we have the authority to remove it from the submission page. This game jam will not be judged, and there will be no prizes. It will all be for the fun of making some games and some laughs!
