And try to make it funny! Your game might be janky, ridiculous, or even outright bad! That's half the fun! You have a week; of course, it won't be perfect!
I'll be streaming the participants as I judge them after the jam, in order to hopefully share the game with more people and maintain transparency!
Rules:
- While the jam 'starts' on April 1st, we're opening the floor early! Just make sure most of the work happens for this jam—please no submitting old, finished projects!
- This entire jam is for fun! Be sure to be a good sport and have a good time!
- Please hold off on NSFW, just since I'd like to play these on stream.
- You must use one of the two themes! Even if it's just a little nod, but you'll be rated on theme usage so it's best to make it a core part!
- Please specify if you're using GenAI, just tagging it on itch should be fine. Just be sure to keep it to placeholders, we value human jank over AI slop! Though we understand not everyone can draw.
Bonus Challenges:
- Have at least one character hit by a fish. Could be a slap, could be a literal fish punch them. Anything goes!
- Have a character that only says one thing.
- Include an optional objective that seems really hard, but is actually trivial.
- Include a credits theme with vocals. (You can use sources like Dova Syndrome or other royalty free music providers, or simply record them yourself!)

- Majestic Jank - Most charmingly broken, or scuffed game.
- Something Here Smells Fishy... - Best use of the fish theme.
- Somebody Get Me a Jacket...Wait, Two Jackets! - Best us of the winter theme.
- You Made WHAT in Seven Days? - Most conventionally polished project.
- High Achieving Spittake - Funniest game.
Rewards:
Rewards are bragging rights because the studio budget is zero dollars. And, if you'd like, a recruitable character in Legacy of Aeon: Epic of Five Losers. Created however you'd like, Whether it be based on you, an OC. or just something random.
