Junction Jam (Midwest US) is an in-person, 2-day weekend round-trip game jam where jammers start in multiple cities (Minneapolis/St. Paul, Kansas City) and begin their games on an Amtrak train to Chicago.

Jammers already based in Chicago start at the same time, and as each train arrives, welcome their traveling peers for an evening event featuring dinner, networking, and more jamming!

The next day, passenger jammers wave goodbye to their new Chicago friends and get back on their trains to finish up their games while returning to their origin cities!

The first Junction Jam (Midwest US) took place August 15th - 16th, 2026.
