Judah Jam is a Christian Game Jam centered around using our developed skills and blessings to celebrate our Lord and Savior "Christ of Nazareth". With that being said, This Jam is not exclusive to Christians only. Anyone is free to join in on the fun!

There are 2 themes for this game jam. The first theme will always be centered around a bible verse and the secondary theme will be a randomly generated theme.

-Example-

John 3:16

Isolation

The First one is the bible verse theme and the second one is the general theme. Themes will be released the day before the start of the jam. For instance, The jam starts on the 1st of June and the themes are released on the 31st of May.

Themes will be announced on the Discord server. So make sure to join in and hang out!

Time Limit

All development must occur within the start and end window. You may use pre-existing tools, engines, libraries, or frameworks, but the game itself must be built during the jam.

Use Of Theme

Your game must incorporate One of the announced themes (revealed at the start). Creativity in interpretation is encouraged—loose connections are fine as long as the intent is clear.

Team Size

Solo or teams of 6 are allowed. Clearly credit all team members on the submission page.

Assets & Resources

You may use free/public domain assets, purchased assets, or your own pre-made code/assets with proper credit.

What is a Christian Game Jam?

It’s a time-limited event where participants create games that honor God, reflect biblical truth, or share the love of Christ. It’s a space for believers (and seekers) to use creativity for His glory.

Who can participate?

Anyone who wants to create games in a faith-friendly environment. All denominations, skill levels, and backgrounds are welcome. You don’t need to be a professional developer.

Do I need to be a strong Christian or know the Bible well?

No. We welcome new believers, those exploring faith, and seasoned Christians. Focus on creating with a sincere heart.

What counts as “honoring God”?

Games can be directly biblical (retellings, quizzes, adventures), indirectly faith-inspired (virtues like forgiveness, courage, prayer), or wholesome fun with a positive message. Creative interpretations are encouraged.

Quick Tips

Start with prayer and a simple, focused idea.

“Done in love is better than perfect.”

Focus on the core experience first.

Encourage and pray for fellow participants.

Have fun and let the Holy Spirit guide your creativity!
