This will be our first ever game jam and as our audience isn't the largest we wanted to give some incentive.  So whoever comes in first place will win $100 USD.  In order to be considered for the prize you must be subscribed to our YouTube Channel and you'll need to have a PayPal (This is the method we use to give the prize money as it's the safest for both parties) no exceptions.

The Tutorial:

Theme: The level changes as you play.

What are the rules?

- You're game must utilize our Interaction tutorial.  You can edit it or alter it but it's got to be in the game files.

- You're game must be in line with the theme of the game jam "The level changes as you play."

Speaking of which, if you win you'll need to share the unity project with us via unity, zipped file, or GitHub so we can confirm that you've used our tutorial.  Don't try and send it to us unless we've contacted you to let you know you've won.

- Only Unity Game Engine.  Sorry but in order to utilize our tutorial you'll have to use Unity.

- Keep it appropriate.  Entries with Nudity, Graphic violence (blood and violence is fine but think COD zombies, NOT Mortal Kombat), Strong language (cursing), hate speech (racism, sexism, etc.) , and other inappropriate elements will be disqualified.  A good rule of thumb is to aim for a "T" for teen rating and bellow.

- 3rd Party Assets are allowed.

- Be creative!

Your game will be voted on...

- Level Design

- Innovation

- Creative use of the Tutorial (Cool interaction mechanics, features ,etc.)

- Fun

- Clean ( 5 stars = little to no bugs, 1 star = almost unplayable/unplayable)

The primary focus of the game jam is the tutorial and implementing it so some of the normal categories aren't here.

PS:  Again this is our first game jam so we'd love to know what you think or suggestions you have for improvements for future game jams.  If you'd like to leave feedback you can send an email to JTAGamesinfo@gmail.com title the subject  "May_2021_100DollarGameJam"  If you title it anything else we probably won't read it.  If you have questions about the tutorial use the comment section on YouTube as that's where we answer questions.
