Jampus is a casual, end of year jam with a twist on the prompt- It's a secret Santa jam with individualized prompts. Sign up early, submit a prompt of your own and get one at random submitted by another participant! Make games for your fellow community members! Wrack your designer brains in an attempt to fulfill the the true potential of these prompts! Games will be streamed on December 12th over on the Indie City Games Twitch channel.

The jam form required to participate is ONLY available in our community Discord.

Prompts will be sent to everyone who has filled out the jam form at start time.

Jampus runs from 11/28 to 12/08 this year, followed by a twitch stream of all entries shortly after.

DEADLINE FOR JAM PROMPTS IS November 27th, 11:59 PM CST; PROMPTS WILL BE SENT OUT AT JAM START TIME

If working with a team, please have your team formed BEFORE submitting prompts.

NO WHINING ABOUT WHAT PROMPTS YOU GET! By signing up for Jampus, you are committing to doing your utmost to release a project based on at least one of the prompts you are given by another participant. Even if your game isn't finished, still post it! It's all in the spirit of Jampus.

Schedule:

• November 27th - Deadline to submit prompts!
• November 28th , 10:00 am CST - Jam Starts
• December 8th, 11:59 pm CST - Jam entry deadline
• December 11th, 8:30 pm CST - Jam entries streamed on the Indie City Games Twitch

• Developers hold all rights to the games they make.
• Developers grant Indie City Games the permission to use their game's name, screenshots, and video footage in promotional materials for Indie City Games and future events.
• Indie City Games reserves the right to not display and / or remove any uploaded games if the game content is broken, offensive or unsuitable as determined by Indie City Games’ sole discretion. This includes but is not limited to: games with harmful or prejudicial themes related to gender, sexual orientation, age, ability, appearance, ethnicity, national origin, citizenship, socioeconomic status, or religion. Indie City Games reserves the right to disqualify any entry from prize qualification for any reason.
