Mob programming is when an entire team works together on the same thing, at the same time, on the same computer (or remote screen share). One person types, and everyone else navigates, discusses, and decides what to do next. It’s about shared understanding, fast feedback, and making decisions together.
Recommend: Pop.com & Mobster
dillonkearns/mobster: Pair and mob programming timer for Mac, Windows, and Linux.
To qualify for the prize, your team must submit a video (YouTube or Twitch VOD) that shows you mob programming during development. A few minutes is fine—we just want to see the collaboration in action! Think of it as your behind-the-scenes devlog.
Jam Starts: 7/18/2025 Submissions Due: 7/21/2025, Submit your game on itch.io, playable in browser.
The theme will be revealed at the start of the jam. Interpret it however you want—just make sure your game fits the theme in some meaningful way.
TBD, but most likely I’ll be playing submissions live on Twitch (mrseveral) with possible guests. Each game will get around 10 minutes of stream time. Prize decisions will be based on gameplay, collaboration effort (via video), and voting results.
