hello everyone in the dev society, this is president cat, welcome to the second of our society game jams, i havent been sleeping well lately but the sheer honour and magical nature of being your democratically elected leader has kept me from losing it altogether.

the summer game jams is a series of jams across the summer break, each submission will be graded in itch.io, but then their overall scores will be recorded seperately in a leaderboard, at the end of the summer, the highest ranking scores from across each criteria will be shown on our discord.

Rules:

• Each entrant can only submit one game.
• Only entrants may vote on other entries.
• You can update your submission any number of times during the submission period.
• After the submission period ends, you will no longer be allowed to modify or change your submission.
  • However, you will be allowed to continue updating the itch.io page associated with your submission during the voting period.
• The winner of the game jam is decided based on overall score.
• You can use any game engine or tools to create your game.
• Under no circumstances will AI-generated content be allowed in your jam submission. This includes the use of generative AI in the process of creating art, assets, music production, sound design, coding, plot writing, dialogue, or any displayed content in your submission page as well as co-pilot-like features present in some game engines.
• You can use existing code and assets but please make sure you credit the assets and code you used that were not yours.
• Feel free to work with others in a group but please do not join more than one group.
