We want this to be a casual and fun game jam experience for students in the Boston area to meet each other, make connections, and make a game around Halloween!!!

Yes! The theme is Creepy Crawlies Creeping and Crawling!

The theme is not strictly enforced, it's more to help with brainstorming ideas.
