The assignment consists of  a short text game using Inform 7 where the player needs to extract information from another character by talking to them and asking questions. There should be an NPC that the player talks to. The game needs to have an ending - it can be that the information is obtained, or the player fails to get the information, or they may get the wrong information - these are just examples. The final game should be a short scene that players can traverse in 7-10 minutes.
