Welcome to the Indie Jam 2024 Student Game Jam, powered by Xsolla Curine Academy! 

Our game jam features a unique emphasis on pitching, requiring participants to showcase their game at Indie Jam 2024 for the Public Voting Segment, then present their games to a panel of industry judges for the Judges Choice Segment. 

The winning team will be crowned at Indie Jam 2024 on November 17th and receive a full scholarship for a 1-year course of your choosing at Xsolla Curine Academy!*

*Applicable for the February & July 2025 intakes of the Game Design, 3D Artist, Game Development: Unity, and Game Development: Unreal Engine courses. Courses are transferrable.

Game Jam Format

• Game Jam Duration: 10 November (Sunday), 12:00PM — 15 November (Friday), 11:59PM
• Game Jam Location: Online
• Judging Duration: 16 November (Saturday) — 17 November (Sunday) 
• Judging Location: Xsolla Curine Academy, KL Eco City, Level 4
• Judging Criteria: 70% Judges, 30% Public Vote
• Requirements: Only open to high school students, university students, and fresh graduates who are currently unemployed. Pre-formed teams are allowed. 
• Age limit: Participants must be aged 13 and above

Indie Jam 2024 Event Details 

• Date: 16 - 17 November 2024 (Saturday & Sunday)
• Time: 10AM - 7PM
• Venue: Xsolla Curine Academy, KL Eco City, Level 4
• Ticketing: Free Entry!

Rules & Regulations

• Each team must have minimum 1 member, maximum 5 members.
• Registration is based on first come, first serve basis. Team leaders will be contacted via email or Discord to confirm their slot. 
• Teams MUST showcase their games physically at Indie Jam 2024 on 16 - 17 November. A booth space will be provided to showcase their game, but teams must provide their own hardware and manpower. 
• Teams MUST participate in the Game Jam Presentation & Judging Session that will take place on 17 November at 3PM (Detailed schedule TBA) .
• Teams MUST submit their game on the official Itch.io Game Jam page in order to eligible for judging.
