Welcome to the INDIE + GDFUNDA organized game jam! We are welcoming people of all levels to come and participate in this little event where we make and play games! Don't worry, we are not expecting the next triple A title to come out of this event. This is just a safe space for those with even the tiniest interest in game development to come and and play around with their creativity. Our hope is to allow people the opportunity to create an experience that anyone can enjoy and open up a dialogue on the wonderful world of game development!
While you are working on your game jam submissions, feel free to hang in the INDIE discord! A lot of other experienced game developers in the discord server will be hanging there while they also work on their submissions so if you want dem tip and tricks come hang ;)

Again, this is more a casual event to allow people to just have fun making games, but we still want to open these games up for people to rate certain parts of it! This will allow people to gauge what worked out for them and what did not during the project. These are the categories that users are able to rate the game on:
On a side note, for how to rate submissions using external assets is up to you. Rule of thumb is to think about whether the assets found and used fit well and add to the vision of the game they wanted to make! Again, keep in mind that this is a game jam for all levels of entry. You can rate submissions however you like, but make sure to be kind and give constructive criticism wherever needed. We all just want to improve and have fun while doing so! With that being said, we hope you enjoy the event and we encourage you to post progress in the discord server for feedback during the jam! If you have any questions or concerns, feel free to message one of the officers in the discord server and we will try to get back to you as soon as possible!
> Based on the voting system listed above, the group of the game submitted with the highest overall rating will receive Php 100 Steam Cards (one for each member, max. 4 (extras will be raffled should the team be less than 4) ).
> Make sure that your submission is made using the Unity Engine. It can be either a downloadable .exe file, or built as an HTML5 Web App playable on itch.io (see the "Guidelines for uploading on itch io.pdf" sent by your professor on canvas).
