Welcome to the first-ever Indie Dev Jam, hosted by Indie Dev Nest,  a creative community built to support indie game developers from all backgrounds. Whether you’re a beginner or a seasoned creator, this jam is your chance to show off your creativity, learn new skills, and be part of something bigger.

🧩 Theme

The theme will be revealed at the start of the jam. Expect something open-ended and inspiring that encourages bold ideas and unique interpretations.

⏱️ Timeframe

Development Period: 14 Days

Voting Period: 7 Days

Late Submissions: Not accepted, make sure to submit your game before the deadline!

👥 Team Rules

You can work solo or in a team, there’s no limit on team size. Collaboration is encouraged, but solo developers are just as welcome.

🧠 Judging Criteria

Games will be community voted and judged based on three key areas:

🎨 Creativity: How unique, interesting, and original your game feels.

⚙️ Gameplay Functionality: How well the game works, plays, and flows.

🧩 Theme Usage: How effectively the theme is represented and integrated into your game.

🏆 Prizes & Recognition

The Top 3 Winners will be featured on both the Indie Dev Nest Blog and the Kieren Day Studios Blog, hosted on the official Kieren Day Studios website. Each winner will have the opportunity to:

Share their personal story of getting into game development

Promote their game and upcoming projects

Gain valuable backlinks and visibility for their work

Build a stronger personal brand as an indie developer
