Welcome to the first ever ISOU Jam!

This jam is all about making a game with a unique mechanic, combination of mechanics or otherwise interesting twist.

With so many games being made these days, the only way to stand out is through originality, to come up with something new that hasn't really been seen or explored before! (Why would I play your platformer when there is Mario, Mega-man and Celeste out there?)

Games will be judged by participants and I in the following categories:

• Originality 
• Implementation, (how well the original mechanic is integrated into the game)
• Overall quality of the game. (Because if your game just sucks it doesn't really matter how unique it is.) 
• Theme (To help ensure submission were developed within the specified time) 

• You will have 1 week to develop an original game. 
• Any assets can be used as long as you have the license for it, though original assets are strongly encouraged.
• You can work in any size team or solo. 
• Any engine can be used
• No NSFW content, otherwise any game or genre is allowed, just keep in mind the final submission must be a game.
• Submissions must be compatible with Windows or Web. (Web is highly recommended)
• Submissions must be made by the deadline, no late entries will be allowed or accepted. No exceptions. So plan ahead or don't ask.

The winner of the jam doesn't get any prizes besides glory and prestige, and a firm "nice job" from me, (without a hand shake because internet.) As well as bragging rights I suppose.
