Once again, the IF Game Jam goes quantum!

Together with University of Pisa, InstituteQ, University of Helsinki, Aalto University, QPlayLearn, and in collaboration with IBM Quantum & Qiskit, Quantum Technologies Education CSA of the Quantum Flagship, AISF (Italian Association of Physics Students), and IndiQ, IF presents the second edition of the IF Quantum Game Jam.

This jam is a non-competitive team hackathon. Our goal is to create games that touch the quantum world in some way, whether by implementing quantum concepts during gameplay, using tools such as Qiskit to build the game or run it on a real quantum computer, or even illustrating quantum phenomena in a creative manner. Most importantly, we want to have fun, meet new people and learn exciting things!

A Scientific Board will decide the theme of the jam, professors and researchers will join senior developers as mentors and participation will be open to all interested!

Members of the Scientific Board

  • Marilù Chiofalo, Department of Physics "Enrico Fermi", University of Pisa and QPlayLearn
  • Sabrina Maniscalco, Department of Physics, University of Helsinki, Aalto University, InstituteQ, and QPlayLearn
  • Caterina Foti, Department of Applied Physics, Aalto University, InstituteQ and QPlayLearn
