Welcome!
¡Hola comunidad estudiantil! Join fellow Puerto Rican students and developers in order to make a game within a week in this game jam!
Hosted by the InterDev Association of Computer Science, a non-profit student organization in the Inter American University of Puerto Rico, Bayamón Campus. We'd like to thank the Puerto Rico Game Developers Association (PRGDA) for joining us in this event, we will be using the #interdev-jam-2020 channel on the PR Game Devs Discord server: https://discord.gg/TXYmCbS
Want to showcase your submission in public? Join us at the Microsoft Store in Plaza Las Americas - March 13, @ 1:00 PM AST. Get the tickets on eventbrite for free! Meet the local Puerto Rican game dev community there to see the games created in this jam! Due to strict quarantine measures, we will not be able to fulfill the showcase event. We are planning to make a video to highlight all the submissions, we hope that you can understand that we don't want to risk the health of the community.

COVID-19 Official Statement: We decided to extend the Game Jam to April 30th, the Showcase has been postponed and we will announce the date in the upcoming weeks. For current participants, you can still work on your game submission! If anyone is still interested in joining the jam, you can still participate and even make more than one submission.
The theme will be announced before the game jam starts... ;)
The official theme for the jam is "Figures"!
Rules and Guidelines
Please make sure to know the rules, by participating you agree with the following:
- Registration will be open until April 30, @ 1:00 PM AST. We won't accept further registration after the time period ends.
- Participants need to fill a review form - Click here to fill the review form, it will be opened
until March 14, @ 11:00 PM AST. - The theme will be announced before the jam starts, this will give you some time to plan ahead. Once the theme is announced, you can start working on your submission (even if the game jam hasn't begun, we want to give you the time to set up your tools and workstation environment, have that extra time on us).
- With teams, only up to 3 participants are allowed per team and must have a leader assigned. You can participate alone if you don't have a team, but please don't make a team once you are working on your submission as it can be troublesome.
- Every submission must include at least: game executable or playable in-game page, name of the game, elevator pitch, explanation of the interpretation of the theme, list of team members, and their roles. Check out the "Suggestions to included in your submission" section to see what else you could include in your submission. Update: Include these on your game page or submission page comments, previous required fields on submitting got accidentally removed after extending the time.
- Submissions containing or referencing adult themes (such as nudity, drugs, sex, etc.), religion, hate speech, and political themes are not allowed. Copying other submissions will not be tolerated, and submissions must originate from this game jam.
- The submission deadline is on April 30, @ 10:00 PM AST. We won't accept further entries after the time period ends.
By breaking any of these rules, your submission will be removed without any questions.

Please make sure that your submission contains the following:
- Name of the game, brief description, elevator pitch, and the theme interpretation.
