48hr Game Jam for National Science Week in Australia.

Have you ever wanted to explore making games for science education? Share knowledge of your favourite scientific field via your own game. Open to students, educators, scientists, anyone who loves science really. There's no need to be knowledgeable in game engines, you will be introduced to some easy game making tools to get you started.

There's one major theme and that's SCIENCE . You can make a game about dinosaurs roaming the earth, space exploration, healthcare, the sky's the limit. You will also need to comply with the Signature Prompt which will be revealed at the start of the Jam.

This year's Signature Prompt is "Frequency."

On Saturday, August 13th, 10:30am - 3:00pm (UST +8), there will be an Intro to VR Development workshop being streamed online. Rebecca Kerr will take you through the basics of Unity's XR Interaction Toolkit. Keep in mind, you will need access to a VR Headset. Ideally the Quest, as other headset may need additional tweaking.
