IETGJANIIAW!?! is an Isekai game jam. In other words, it's a game jam to create games about ordinary people from the modern world ending up in fantastical worlds! While tolkien-esque worlds are the fantasy standards, feel free to branch out into superheroes, science fiction, mythology, or any other genre or source material you care to explore!

Isekai
Roughly translates to Another World, and is the common name for this fantasy sub genre, wherein the primary characters are modern day humans from Earth who travel to an alternate dimension or other world through some means or circumstances.

Inspirations
Modern anime is the primary source, with works such as That Time I Got Reincarnated as a Slime, So I'm a Spider So What?, Re:Zero, El Hazard, I'm Standing on a Million Lives, I Killed Slimes for 300 Years and Maxed Out My Level, I Asked to Be Average in My Next Life, and honestly so many more I could never list them all.  Outside of anime, Chronicles of Narnia, Labyrinth, Wizard of Oz, and Alice in Wonderland are all other world stories as well.


Who Can Enter?

Any kind of games are welcome! TTRPGs, video games, visual novels, or any other kind of game based content.
If you've previously put together an isekai game, feel free to submit it!

What Kind of Content?

The game must be focused on an Isekai setting or plot line of some kind, but otherwise, feel free to try out anything you think might fit. I'd really love to see:
-Stand alone Isekai TTRPGs
-Isekai adventures and supplements for existing games and systems
-Clever twists on the genre! There are always different protagonists, different worlds, different powers, and different circumstances to try out!
