HypeHype's JulyGameJam Winners Announced
The time has come, Hypineers. The JulyGameJam saw some truly stellar creations being shared in HypeHype, making the task for our judges to narrow the selection down to 15 finalists one of the most difficult yet. This July HypeHype presents the July Game Jam, a month-long competition for HypeHype creators. This Jam has 3 game categories with a prize pool of $5,000 split between 15 individual prizes!
The theme for this Jam is wide open. The only criteria for eligibility is that Hypes are created in July and published before the deadline of Midnight PST on July 31st.
Build a game or many games with HypeHype by using your mobile phone, tablet or web browser. No coding required.
All games (Hypes) created & published in HypeHype during the month of July are eligible for the July Game Jam!
No jam registration required. No complicated submission processes! Simply create your dream game(s) with HypeHype’s editor tools and publish your creation(s) anytime during July!
Creators can publish as many games as they wish to have more chances to win in different categories.
There are a total of 3 prize categories with 5 prizes each. Creators can qualify and win in multiple categories.
A free HypeHype creator account is required to publish games on HypeHype. Get access at hypehype.com!
All submissions are expected to follow the official HypeHype Community Guidelines.

Prizes: The July Game Jam has a total of $5,100 prize pool that is shared between the 3 different categories and 15 potential indie dev winners. Complete prize breakdown below.
Judging - Entries will be judged by Frogmind & HypeHype developers and game jam judges. Entries in all categories will be judged on game design, visual design, sound design, technical execution and use of additional features like haptics or social features to create a well rounded experience for players.
Hashtags - Hashtags are not required to enter but are a good idea to help other HypeHype creators and players find your creation. Use appropriate hashtags including #JulyGameJam when publishing your Hypes (games).
HypeHype is a new destination for game makers, indie devs and players. Create and play games for free on any device - your phone, tablet or web browser.
You can build games with the mobile-first editor tools that require no coding. Craft anything you like using high-quality 3D assets, characters, sounds and add-ons. You can build games quicker than ever before with Remixing, simply using other games as a starting point.
Once you are finished with your game, just hit publish and your game becomes instantly playable on all devices!

The HypeHype Editor has a built in chat that allows creators to ask questions and have discussions without leaving the app. Need a little help? Ask the chat. Need a new asset? Ask the chat! Just want to say hi? You can do that too. Tap the chat icon in the Editor to open the Editor Chat. There’s also an Editor Wiki built into the editor. Tap question mark icons to access the wiki. The wiki is regularly being updated with new documentation, guides and tutorials.
The HypeHype Discord Server is another great place to connect with other creators and HypeHype developers to chat about the app, creating and so much more.

With the playlist feature in HypeHype, creators can combine multiple Hypes (games) to create a continued experience, like levels in a game or different rooms in a dungeon. To qualify for this category creators have to publish 3 or more Hypes that combine to create 1 joint experience. Take advantage of the Playlist features to create something that couldn’t be done in a single Hype.

Any game in HypeHype can be remixed and every game is remixed from something. This category is for creators who build upon another creation to make something new. In addition to the general judging criteria, Remixes will be compared against their parent Hype to see what was changed and how it impacts the experience. Big changes aren’t always needed to make a big impact.
