Happy Holidays everyone! The Indie Wizards are celebrating the holidays by hosting a Holiday Card Jam!  

- Theme -

Make a short game that could serve as a holiday card.

Choose any holiday you like. Christmas, Hanukkah, Valentine's Day, Labor Day. Anything

All we ask is that you only use a holiday you or someone on your team actually celebrates. 

- Timeline -

Kickoff and Theme Announcement: Saturday the Dec 17th at 6:00pm PT

Closing Ceremony and Winners Announced: Friday the Dec 24th at  6:00pm PT

- Rules -

• The game must be completely built during the allotted time period! No cheating!
• Pre-made assets are allowed as long as the creator gives permission.
  • You may use any art or audio you wish but you must have legal permission
  • Credit artist/musician who's content you use if at all possible
  • If you use previously created assets, please state this in your submission
• Work alone or as a team.
• Keep it clean, please. (No NSFW content, gore, offensive, or hateful content)
• Use any engine you wish 
• The game must be hosted on itch.io and uploaded before the deadline
• Once the deadline has passed you may not update your game until judging is complete

- Judging Criteria -

Vote for your favorite games after the completion of the jam. The top games will get prizes.  Our judging criteria will be as follows!

• Holiday theme
• Fun
• Positive messaging
• Playability
• Visual Style
• Audio Style

• Treat each other with respect 
• Be mindful of your speech and behavior towards others, especially when disagreeing 
• Harassment or abuse of any form will not be tolerated 
• Use appropriate profile images and names
• Do not send unsolicited private messages to anyone 
• Do not share sexually explicit, racist, sexist, or otherwise disturbing content 
• Do not disclose personal information about anyone other than yourself 
• Do not advertise services, software, or other prods
