In honor of the series finale of BBC's His Dark Materials (based upon Phillip Pullman's work by the same name), I am hosting a His Dark Materials Jam!

His Dark Materials is a fantasy/sci-fi series consisting of three books: Northern Lights/The Golden Compass, The Subtle Knife, and the Amber Spyglass. It follows the journey of two children, Lyra Belacqua and Will Parry, as they travel (and are hunted) across the multiverse. It is a classic coming-of-age story that explores the destiny and free will, the importance of asking questions and challenging corrupt authority, and what you gain -- and lose -- when you shed the ignorance and innocence of childhood.

His Dark Materials has been adapted into a radio drama, a two-part play, and a television adaptation. Pullman has continued to expand the Northern Lights universe with novellas, short stories, and a sequel book trilogy entitled 'The Book of Dust'.

This jam is basically a creative free-for-all to celebrate all that we love about His Dark Materials.
