Original event post below.

A introductory jam hosted at UNB Fredericton at the  Sprig Lab (We have changed from Sprig Lab to Marshall D'avray Hall room 236 upstairs)- Any and all welcome!

A game jam is an event where participants make a video game (or event sometimes board game!) from scratch with the direction of a theme, revealed the day the jam starts. No experience is required, but knowing programming basics is a plus. Several free to use game engines offer code-less alternatives to development!

If this is your first time in game development, looks into these engines! All free to use!

A work space is provided by UNB Fredericton and an industry mentor will be available on site for the duration of the jam. However, teams can meet elsewhere during development if preferred. Schedule posted below!

For any questions about the event, feel free to reach out directly to me via
