What is the game jam theme?

The theme of is to create a game with 🍭 Candy Theme 🍭

You can find variety of ready made Candy assets in our asset library or be creative and make your own ones by gluing assets together

Experienced HypeHype Creators

• 🥇 First place: $1.300
• 🥈 Second place: $700
• 🥉 Third place: $300
• 🎖 2 Honorable mentions: $100 each

New HypeHype Creators

• 🥇 First place: $1.300
• 🥈 Second place: $700
• 🥉 Third place: $300
• 🎖 2 Honorable mentions: $100 each

Everyone who participates will be rewarded with a special badge that you can show on your HypeHype profile

How to join

Jam rules

• Do NOT start creating the game before November 29th 22:00UTC
• Game is published by December 14th 21:59 UTC
• Game must be candy -themed
• Game must a leaderboard
• Game must have at least 3 of the assets visible in the Game Jam Theme
  • Candyman (Doens't have to be a playable character)
• Game must have "#candygamejam" in the description
• Multiple game entries are accepted
• One prize per creator (best performing game if multiple)
• Winners are decided by HypeHype's community team
• Game and creator behavior must follow HypeHype's Community Guidelines
• Remixed games are allowed, but they must be unique
• Two prize categories: Experienced Creators and New Creators
  • Experienced Creators = creators that have published 5 or more games on HypeHype before the start of the game jam (Includes unpublished games)
  • New Creators = creators that have published 4 or less games on HypeHype before the start of the game jam  (Includes unpublished games)

What game engines or tools can I use?

Games must be built using HypeHype on your mobile phone, tablet, desktop or web browser. HypeHype is free and there is no coding required!

Where to start creating?

Start by completing in-app editor tutorials to learn the basics on using the editor. Our WIKI PAGE is also available with examples on how to use each logic node, plus other helpful tutorials.
