FAQ

Q: What do I need to do to join? A: Hit the join button on this jam page (if applicable, your team members also need to hit that button). Lastly, join our Discord server here -> [ discord.gg/2YSuWjj ] to keep up to date on the latest game jam and club news!

Q: How do I find a team/team member? A: Through our #recruitment-board channel on our discord! You could also invite your friend to join in but make sure they hit the join button above.

Q: I have little to no experience in making games, can I still join? A: Yes everyone is welcome to join! But we strongly encourage you to look through our list of resources on game development in our #resources channel, or ask for help in #help.

Q: How and when will our submission be judge? A: Submissions Will be judged by the public once the jam is over! there will be a 7 day period where people can play your games and vote on them directly through itch.io

Q: How do I properly credit my game? A: It's important that you credit anyone who worked on your game, or has made assets that were implemented. Crediting means providing the name of whoever else was a developer for your game in your credit scene or itch.io submissions page. This also includes citing sources for imported assets, such as assets used from the Unity assets store or from online. If you're not sure if it should be credited, it never hurts to do so regardless, but you can also always ask our officers in the #help channel on our discord. An exception would be assets that specifically state they don't need to be cited, however we encourage you to cite them regardless so we can be accurate with our feedback.
